You will glow your most beautiful glow

So, the minute I saw this online- I knew it had to be mine.  I only have one other Charlotte Tilbury product – and it’s the Instant Look in a Palette. Which  was a very kind gift- from another beauty obsessed friend. Just btw: I like the palette a lot- it’s the perfect – oh crap i’m running late and can only take one thing- product.

So, I will do whatever it takes to look glowy and this is the answer to all of my prayers. The Hollywood Flawless Filter isn’t cheap: It’s $44.00. But I don’t see myself living without it.  Don’t mind me while I gush a little bit more:

So how do I use it?

Step 1: I moisturize my face with Eminence Coconut Age Corrective Moisturizer    Seriously, don’t get me started on this. It’s everything.  I was visiting Canada and was totally conned by a salesperson with beautiful skin to pick this up- thankfully it happened- because I love it… but it’s spendy.

Step 2: Slather on the amazzzzzing Smashbox Primerizer.

Step 3: THE HOLLYWOOD FLAWLESS FILTER. I have noticed such a difference when I use this everyday. The product has a huge doe foot applicator, and you paint it onto your face. On second thought, I probably should’ve taken some pictures of the applicator…

*HUGE PSA: The Hollywood Flawless Filter is not glittery. To me, there is no appeal to a highlight with glitter. This has a beautiful creamy sheen. *

Step 4-12: All the other stuff you put on your face. The Hollywood Filter just serves as a glow-y base. I did see some reviews, and folks were unsure if this was a foundation or a primer. It’s kind of an all purpose glow – but def not a foundation.

Just FYI: I put a lot of this on my face(like 5-6 stripes)  before I go in with foundation. I can get away with it because my skin is very dehydrated, and I have to add glow. However, I can see this being just as beautiful for someone who wants to be more precise with the product- possibly just using it as a beautiful -natural- highlight after foundation.

Here’s a super professional HD quality  video of the Hollywood Filter sheer-ed out on my hand. The left hand has a very small amount and the right hand doesn’t.

One last thing: there are six shades of this product. Which is amazing & inclusive for a “highlighter…complexion booster” (that’s how Nordstrom makes sense of it.)  I purchased shade 3: Light/Medium – but I was definitely considering shade 4 too. I think if you have the luxury of stopping into a Nordstrom and checking them out I would, the undertones are different. However, my world wouldn’t have come to an end if I picked up the Shade 4, especially since it serves as more of a primer-like product.

In summary, if you like a glow all over, or a precise natural highlight: TRY THIS. I really don’t think you’d be disappointed.  Seriously, let’s keep our fingers crossed that Charlotte Tilbury never stops making this.

That’s all for this (very lazy) Sunday! Have an amazzzzing week! 🙂
